Hear from our students
UEA offers exemptions in the Actuarial professional exams and it has close links with Aviva, who has a headquarters located in the heart of Norwich. Growing up in Singapore taught me how to adapt in a fast paced environment, that is also part of the reason why I chose Norwich. You will never have a lack of things to do during the weekends. You can bowl, watch a movie, go shopping or even boating on the Norfolk Broads, which is just a short train ride away. There are larger cities which are relatively close to Norwich as well, such as Cambridge and London, and they are just a single train ride away. If you are deciding if you should come to UEA, don’t hesitate any further, I guarantee you would have the time of your life throughout your studies at UEA.Eugene Zhang Yuting, undergraduate student (2nd year), BSc Actuarial Sciences with a Year in Industry.
